Course Details:

This self paced course on the Asia Minor/Greek goddess Hecate begins with a foray into her ancient origins, epitaphs, worship and attributes. We move on to explore her stories, myths, role in society and how we can work with her as modern devotees of the goddess. 

By the end of this course, students will:

• Gain a deep understanding of Hecate’s mythology, symbols, and historical context.

• Learn ways to connect with Hecate through meditation, ritual, and creative expression.

• Develop personal spiritual practices aligned with Hecate’s attributes and energies.

• Cultivate a relationship with Hecate that respects her power and the traditions associated with her.

Additional Resources:

Text books are not required in order to complete this course, however, students will need to acquire a journal, writing materials and have access to basic ritual supplies such as incense and candles. 

Assessment & Certificate:

This course has been graded as having a 'Intensive' coursework load. Which equates to 2 - 4 hours of additional, independent work. Students will be required to submit coursework in the form of: course evaluation surveys, research tasks and short written assignments in addition to practical and creative exercises to help them deepen their connection with the goddess. 

There are no deadlines for turning in coursework and students are free to work through each module at their own time and pace. A certificate of completion can be accessed in the final module, which can then be downloaded and printed.
