Head Teacher & Course Tutors

This Mastery Stream is headed by High Priestess Asteria Moon who is a qualified Mistress of Healing. Asteria has been teaching others healing skills as part of our tradition for a number of years and will be available to contact for help and guidance at any time during your training.

The individual courses belonging to the Healing Stream have been created by various members of the Enchanted Moon priesthood. We also offer courses created by guest teachers that are not part of our tradition, which can be taken to gain some of the additional (tier 3) credits that you will need.

Coursework & Credits

You will need to gain a minimum of 12 course credits in order to become a Master/Mistress/*Mx of Healing.

The coursework for the Stream of Healing is made up of the following elements:

Tier 1 - Compulsory Courses

There are a number of compulsory courses which every student on the Stream must take. These add up to a total of 5 credits. Where a student has already completed any of the compulsory courses to the required level (final grade of 85% or more), these credits may be carried over and used towards gaining their mastery level.

Tier 2: Optional Courses from the Same Stream

Students may select their own choice of courses, but they must belong to the Healing Stream. These must add up to a total of 5 further credits. Again, if a student has previously completed a course that fits the criteria, to the required level, then these credits can be carried over and used towards gaining their mastery level.

Tier 3: Optional Courses from any other Stream

Students can choose courses from any of the Streams (or courses not allocated to any particular Stream), to gain at least 2 further credits. They must, however, select courses that are new to them, as the credits from previously taken courses can not be carried over for this tier in order to demonstrate ongoing learning and development. 

You can find out which Stream(s) a course belongs to, and how many credits they are worth by reading the information given at the bottom of each course listing page. 

Course Enrolment and Completion

You may complete the courses in any order that you wish. You may also take all the time you need, as there are no deadlines or completion dates. Simply enrol on whichever course you prefer (via the academy website) and begin your learning. As we are continually adding new courses to the academy, there will always be something new for you to learn. Once you have completed a course, go to the "Healing Stream" Canvas site and update your progress record.

Once you have completed all the necessary courses to the relevant standards, and had your work signed off by the Head Teacher, you will be added to our records as an officially recognised Master/Mistress/Mx of Magick within the Enchanted Moon tradition and be electronically issued with a personalised certificate to mark the fact.

Costs

Students on the Path of Air pay to enrol on the individual courses they take, therefore there is no registration fee. Course prices range from 0 - £12 each. Help is available to those who are struggling financially (simply email the academy to arrange a plan). Some courses include the need to obtain materials, this information can be found on the course description page and in the course syllabus. We try to keep costs at a minimum, but students will need to cover any such costs themselves.

Progress and Advancement

As part of the Path of Air, students may be invited by a course tutor to become a TA (Teaching Assistant) and help mentor other students. This is optional, but it does greatly help with your own experience and learning. Should you wish to one day run your own coven as part of our line, then experiences as a TA is essential.

Students may go on to begin another of the Mastery Streams once they have completed the Healing Stream if they so wish. They may also enrol on the Path of Water and train as a coven leader.

To begin the Healing Mastery Stream, simply email the academy - once we have checked that you are suitably qualified (i.e. you have completed the Path of Fire to the relevant grade of 85% or above), we will send you a link to join.
