Course Description:

Moon magick is a belief and incorporated practice that the Moon emanates occult energy which can be harnessed for our benefit. During this course we will explore how each Moon phase is associated with a different current of energy, and how this energy is influenced as the Moon traverses the signs of the zodiac. You will also learn about ancient moon related lore, superstitions, facts, rites and rituals. 

By the end of this course, students will:

• understand the science behind the Moon's cycle and phases.

• be able to find out their own Lunar Birth Phase and apply it to their practices

• know about the energies and influences of each of the different moon phases and how they can be utilised for the best benefit in a range of situations.

• be able to plan, create and perform their own lunar activities, rites and rituals centred around their own preferences and abilities.

Additional Resources:

You will need to obtain a journal in which to record your lesson notes and the results of your assignment work but you do not need to purchase any text books or additional resources.

Assessment & Certificate: 

This course has been graded as having a ‘moderate’ coursework load. Which equates to 1 - 2  hours of independent work in addition to viewing the lesson materials.

Students will be required to submit coursework in the form of: surveys, write up lesson notes, take a short quiz and complete a written assignment at the end of each lesson.

Subsequent modules will remain locked until the current coursework task(s) have been submitted. There are no time limits and students are free to work through the modules at their own pace.

Students are able to access a certificate of completion once all the modules are completed and assignment work submitted.
