The Path of Earth
The Path of Earth
There are many paths to becoming a Witch, and many, many traditions and branches - we teach an eclectic style of modern Pagan Witchcraft that is usable and applicable to all - regardless of personal beliefs about things such as deities and magick. Think of our teachings like scaffolding around a building. They will support and give you a framework in which you can create a practice that suits your own needs and preferences, whilst giving you a structure to build on.
There is great freedom and creativity to be had in this form of learning, and you can be sure that your 'building' will have firm foundations on which you can continue to form a spiritual practice right and unique to you.
Lesson Contents
The Path of Earth contains 12 lessons. Each lesson covers a different topic and consists of:
BOS: The Book of Shadows (BOS) presentation gives instruction about a particular subject or area of the Craft.
Knowledge Check: answer the questions in the quiz provided to check your understanding of the information gained from the lesson.
Spiritual: instructions on how to go about developing your spiritual, ritual and magickal skills in some way.
Practical: here you will be set some form of task or craft to complete.
BOL: The Book of Lights (BOL) provides you with a set of correspondences that will be useful in your future ritual and magickal works.
BOM: Book of Mirrors (BOM). On completion of each lesson students submit a learning journal summarising their achievements: the books you have read, notes on any additional training they have completed or events attended etc.
Discussion: Forums are used to either pose questions, or for having a general discussion where you can ask questions, share ideas and so forth with other students.
The module will also contain suggestions for further research and study via a list of recommended book titles and other resources that you will benefit from viewing if you wish. These are not essential requirements of completing the course though.
