The course comprises of 12 lessons designed to be completed at the rate of one per month, however, those that need more time are welcome to take it. 

We begin by exploring the history and meaning of Paganism in general, and where modern Witchcraft and Wicca fit in. This is followed by a deep-dive into the separate elements that you need to know in order to achieve a well-rounded and workable practice. Lessons include: exploring the sacred feminine and divine masculine (the Goddess & God); how to attune and work with the Elements; celebrating the seasonal and moon cycles through ritual and observations;  the magickal tools often associated with magick and the Craft, and so much more. 

Course Delivery & Format

On enrolment, you will be invited to create a free account on the professional learning platform we utilize. This will allow you to access the Path of Earth lessons, and any other courses you choose to take. 

Each lesson (module) contains a presentation to teach you everything you need to know, a fun multiple choice quiz to help you embed what you have learnt, some form of practical, spiritual/magickal/ritual exercise or task to complete (i.e. how to go about crafting, empowering and using a magick wand, for example), correspondence sheets that will be useful for future ritual/magickal work, a monthly journal to record your progress, and access to the group forum where you share ideas, thoughts, feedback and questions.  

You will also be provided with suggestions for further research and study via a list of recommended books and other resources that you will benefit from viewing if you wish. These are not essential requirements of completing the course though.

Coursework & Submissions

Student will be set coursework in the form of quizzes, assignments and practical tasks. These have been created in order to help teach you essential skills and embed the knowledge you have gained from the lesson. Students must complete all of the assignments set in a lesson before they can move on to the next module. 

Past students have all greatly enjoyed completing these assignments, and they are nothing to worry about, or get hung-up over. Your course tutor is more than happy to help advise and guide you anytime you need it.

In order to qualify for the next Path, students need to gain an average score of 85% or above, and will be allowed to resubmit any work that causes them to fall below this (at no extra charge). You can view a list of outstanding assignments and check you grades at any time.

Course Tutor

This Path is headed by Elder High Priestess Wort Moon, who developed and perfected the Enchanted Moon advancement system over the course of over thirty years worth of experience in helping to guide and teach others.  She  holds many qualifications in teaching and facilitating learning, and is a qualified Mistress of Magick, Divination and Healing within our tradition. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge  and experience for you to draw on any time you need help or advice during your training. 

Progress

On completion of the Path of Earth, students may apply to progress on to the Path of Fire, where they will become an "Initiate" of our tradition and learn about the role of the priesthood, and how to construct rituals, work basic magick, healing and divination. 

Alternatively, students may choose to follow their own path, secure in the knowledge that they have gained much worth-while wisdom and experience, which they can apply to their own Craft practices, or use to help them seek further training elsewhere. 

Enchanted Moon Circles & Covens

The additional benefit of continuing your training on the Path of Fire is that members may choose to join one of our virtual circles. These circles are small, private, coven-like groups where you will be provided with monthly newsletters containing ideas for rituals, magick, recipes, crafts and a wealth of other information to help your progress. 

Course Cost and Enrolment

The cost of the entire course is only £65 (which is used to help cover over-heads, and provided training and enrichment opportunities for the Pagan community at large!). The course also includes feedback, personal mentoring and access to additional help and support any time you need it. Help is available for those that are on low income (simply email the academy to apply).
